North Shore Animal Services Field and Education Operation Planned Tomorrow

March 10, 2026

NORTH SHORE – To address concerns about roaming dogs in North Shore, the Riverside County Department of Animal Services will conduct a field and education operation in the community on Wednesday morning.

Supervisor V. Manuel Perez is notifying the community of the upcoming operation and urging residents to keep their pets secured in their homes as part of responsible pet ownership.

The department will be out as early as 6 a.m. The focus is to gather any dogs that may be loose, reunite them with their owners and, at the same time, educate residents. Animal Services staff will bring collars to help identify strays versus owned pets and will also be available to microchip on the spot.

“This is part of our follow-up to help the community and provide improved safety in North Shore,” said Supervisor Perez. “Our goals are education and community safety. We don’t want families’ pets to be taken into the shelter or for folks to get cited, so we stress the responsibility of residents to keep their pets secure and safe at home. Also, we are hoping to bring out a spay and neuter clinic in the near future.”
