Spots Available for Free Dog Vaccines, Microchips and More in Sky Valley Tomorrow

November 1, 2023

SKY VALLEY – There are spots available for local residents to get free vaccines, microchips, dewormer, and flea and tick treatment for their dogs at a mobile clinic tomorrow in Sky Valley.

In partnership with Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, the Riverside County Department of Animal Services is bringing a dog wellness clinic to Sky Valley from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, November 2, at the Sky Valley Community Center located at 20-905 Hot Springs Road, Sky Valley, CA 92241.

After promoting this event in Sky Valley, about 100 appointments have been confirmed for tomorrow’s clinic, and there are still spots left. The event is open to residents from all communities. Appointments can still be made with the QR code on the attached flyer. After appointments, remaining spots will be available for people who walk in, on a first come, first serve basis until all spots are filled.

Supervisor Perez selected the community of Sky Valley out of the available funding to have this wellness clinic because of the need in our unincorporated communities. More events will be coming soon to a community near you.

Supervisor Perez sees these services, which are provided at no cost to residents, as helping residents and their dogs, the community as a whole as well as the Animal Services department and its shelters.

“Sky Valley is a community with many dogs, and these services will help,” said Supervisor Perez. “Keeping up with the recommended shots can help dogs stay healthy. These events are a great thing that help our community and take care of our pets.”
