North Shore to Benefit from Additional Clean-Up Event Saturday

October 30, 2024

NORTH SHORE – Residents of North Shore will have the opportunity to throw away items for free and keep the community clean on Saturday.

A community clean-up will be held Saturday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to noon or when bins are full. The bins will be placed at the corner of Costa Mesa Drive and Surfside Avenue in the community of North Shore.

Supervisor V. Manuel Perez allocated $15,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant funding to provide this area, which usually has high turnout at the annual cleanups, with an additional clean-up this year.

“I want to thank the Riverside County Code Enforcement Department for working with us to put together an additional clean-up for the community of North Shore,” said Supervisor Perez. “These clean-ups help the community. As a service to residents, these events keep the community clean and provide an alternative to illegal dumping.”

Accepted items include tires, bulky items such as furniture and appliances, and electronic waste.

Household trash and hazardous materials will NOT be accepted.

The North Shore Neighborhood Clean-Up is hosted by Supervisor Perez and the Riverside County Code Enforcement Department.
