December 12, 2023

NORTH SHORE – With the support of Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, the Riverside County Department of Animal Services is bringing its brand new state-of-the-art mobile clinic to the community of North Shore for a dog wellness clinic on Thursday, December 14.

There are spots available for local residents to get free vaccines, microchips, dewormer, and flea and tick treatment for their dogs at the mobile clinic.

The mobile clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, December 14, at the North Shore Community Park, located at 99-480 70th Avenue, North Shore, CA 92254.

After promoting this event in North Shore and the eastern Coachella Valley, over 130 people have signed up for appointments, and there are still some spots available. The event is open to residents from all communities. Appointments can still be made with the QR code on the attached flyer. After appointments, remaining spots will be available for people who walk in, on a first come, first serve basis until all spots are filled.

“These events are a great thing that help our community and take care of our pets,” said Supervisor Perez. “These services are provided at no cost, and they help residents and their dogs, the community as a whole as well as the Animal Services department. And more events will be coming soon to a community near you!”

This event is the third recent county animal services mobile wellness clinic to help the Fourth District communities. An event last Saturday in Blythe had over 200 people signed up to get vaccinations and microchips for their pets, and the county department also performed over 100 spay and neuter operations.
