EASTERN COACHELLA VALLEY – Supervisor V. Manuel Perez has scheduled a community meeting next week to listen to owners of ranchos in the eastern Coachella Valley, small businesses and community members and provide information on potential changes to Riverside County’s temporary events ordinance.

Riverside County, Martha’s Village & Kitchen Open 24/7 Cooling Shelter for People Experiencing Homelessness

PALM SPRINGS – Riverside County, in partnership with nonprofit organization Martha’s Village & Kitchen, opened a 24/7 cooling shelter in Palm Springs to help people experiencing homelessness have relief from the Coachella Valley’s extreme summer temperatures. The shelter will also connect residents in need to services.
