Supervisors Dedicate $50 Million for Small Business Assistance

PALM DESERT – The Riverside County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a plan for distributing $431 million in funding from the federal government, allocating $50 million of that amount for a countywide small business assistance program.

The Riverside County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office on Tuesday received a shipment of 50,000 surgical masks from the State of California to protect workers in the Fourth District’s and Riverside County’s agricultural industry.

Manuel Perez and Vice Chair Karen Spiegel are bringing forth a proposal Tuesday to rescind four active Riverside County public health orders.

Free Community Clean-Ups

Free Community Clean-Ups in North Shore and Ripley and Paper Shredding/Tire Collection in Desert Edge/Sky Valley Saturday

Two bulky waste disposal events and a paper shredding/tire collection event will be held on Saturday, March 7 for residents of unincorporated communities in eastern Riverside County. All events are from 8 a.m. to noon and are free for the residents.
