Oasis Mobile Home Park Community Meeting Scheduled Tomorrow

OASIS – Riverside County will hold the next Oasis Mobile Home Park community update meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 28 at the Torres Martinez Gymnasium, located at 66-755 Martinez Road, Thermal, CA 92274.

Oasis Mobile Home Park Community Meeting Scheduled Tomorrow

OASIS – Riverside County will hold the next Oasis Mobile Home Park community update meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 28 at the Torres Martinez Gymnasium, located at 66-755 Martinez Road, Thermal, CA  92274.

Supervisor V. Manuel Perez will attend the meeting along with representatives of the Riverside County Housing and Workforce Solutions Department. The meeting will be conducted in Spanish.

The meeting will cover the latest progress made with government and Tribal entities regarding the future of Oasis Mobile Home Park, as well as give a presentation on the housing action plan that the county is developing.

Supervisor Perez requested that the county housing division hold monthly community update meetings to keep efforts moving and update residents of Oasis Mobile Home Park on progress and housing options for relocation.

“This community meeting is to discuss the efforts to provide relocation assistance to families at Oasis Mobile Home Park to improve their housing and living conditions,” said Supervisor Perez. “Our goals with these meetings are to keep efforts moving forward and let people know what is going to happen and when, and involve the community and receive input. There are many challenges that we are facing and these efforts will take time, and we are committed to action and to working together with local, county, state and federal agencies and nonprofits towards solutions that assist the families at Oasis Mobile Home Park.”
